If you are in Peterhouse, you will automatically hear news of the Heywood Society by email, via the JCR lists. If you're from another College, or indeed not from Cambridge at all, and you would like to be kept in the loop, please do subscribe to our "news" mailing list, run by the SRCF. The sign-up page is here. This list is not particularly high-volume, generally having no more than one email per week, except occasionally around audition times and just before productions. Audition notices, requests for technical help, and reminders about forthcoming productions will all be sent to this list.
The Heywood Society puts on a production near the end of each Cambridge term and we welcome applications all year round, however please bear in mind that we tend to decide on a prodction by week 7 of the preceeding term, for example if you wanted to put on a production at the end of the Lent term, you'd need to have submitted your application by week 7 of Michaelmas. The application form as well as instructions as to where to hand it it can be downloaded here.
The Heywood committee traditionally changes hands at the end of the Lent Term and is made up of members of Peterhouse. The list of current members, and their email addresses, is visible on the committee page. If you think you would like to get involved in the Heywood Society, in whatever capacity, feel free to contact any of the current committee members for information. Heywood is a well funded society, and with such solid foundations the potential for great shows is vast.
